About The Position

Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine Physician Los Angeles CA REMOTE Medical Director position with minimal time commitment We are looking for a Primary care Physician to join our team as Medical Director, providing clinical oversight remotely for our practice in CA. We will consider either a family medicine or internal medicine physician for this position, and the incoming Physician can be as involved as they would like to be with minimal time commitment. We have Private Duty Nurses that are relatively independent and our patients have their own personal physicians. The incoming Physician/Medical Director will serve more as a remote support source as needed. Our goal is to service long term cases (geriatrics), post op and potential VIP Travel clients. The ideal candidate is someone willing to work remotely with minimal time commitment, assisting our nurses delivering high quality care. We have an exceptional team of healthcare professionals and experienced administrative staff, and we are looking for an oversight medical doctor to join our team. Requirements

BCBE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Medical license in CA

Responsibilities

Clinical oversight of private duty nurses to ensure nursing Care aligns.
Standing orders and protocol authorization if it applies.
Chart Review (remotely) as needed
Physician orders as needed (labs, diagnostics, DME).
Nurse consultation and escalation support.
Serve as Medical Director
Policy and Procedure Review
Support compliance regulation (pt safety) and maintain availability during agreed upon hours.
