About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is offering an exceptional full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join a dedicated practice located in Meridian, Idaho. This position is part of a physician-led and accountable multispecialty group practice that comprises over 600 providers. The practice is committed to delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population, catering to individuals from birth to end of life. The schedule for this role is designed to promote work-life balance, with 4 to 4.5 days of work per week and 34 patient contact hours weekly. Flexible scheduling options and reduced full-time equivalents (FTE) are available to accommodate the needs of the physician. The call schedule is manageable, requiring only phone consultations with an excellent triage service in place. The practice utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring efficient patient management and documentation. SAMG provides a wide array of services in a convenient and accessible environment, including urgent care, family practice, occupational medicine, diabetes care and education, a sleep disorders center, orthopedics, heart care, lab draw services, physical therapy, occupational therapy (including hand therapy), pelvic floor therapy, low vision therapy, and a community health education center that offers wellness classes on-site. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program. Candidates must be Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or be willing to obtain such certification within three years of employment. Additionally, candidates must be eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases, including valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA.
