About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners - Job Opportunity, New Listing Facility City & State: Santa Maria, CA Facility Type: Outpatient FQHC Provider Profession Needed: MD/DO- no new grads, no APPs Specialty: Family Medicine Start Date: 1/5/2026 End Date: 3/27/2026 Length of Assignment: 3 months Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days Work Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM Patient Volume: 20-23PPD- pre-booked to account for no-shows Procedures: Basic family medicine- wellness exam, cold, cough, flu, chronic care, diabetes, weight management. Bread and butter PC EMR: Athena License Needed: Active/clear CA Certifications Needed: BC/BE in FM, BLS, DEA Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: FM, IM Other additional pertinent information: Support staff: 3 MDs and 2 PAs on site, 3 peds providers in the next suite. No hits on license. Orientation/training- 1/5-1/6. First day seeing patients- 1/7. Ramp up, seeing patients every 30 mins: 1/7-1/9 If BE we will need to submit with additional details. Clean NPDB report and license also required with submission. Please include phone screen availability with sub and any additional languages spoken. CHC does not place NP/PAs at their facilities for locum coverage.
