About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners Facility City & State: California Facility Type: FQHC Provider Profession Needed: MD/ DO or APP Specialty: Family Medicine (Prefer MD/DO with Women's Health) Start Date: End Date: End of February/ Beginning of March Start Credentialing only takes 2 weeks Length of Assignment: 8 weeks Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks on average Work Schedule: 5x8 schedule Will try and be flexible if the provider wants a 4x10 schedule, need to make sure they have enough support staff for 10-hour days. Patient Volume: 20-22 patients per day Cases/ Procedures: Bread-and-Butter Primary Care Position Must be comfortable seeing newborns - geriatric. NO exceptions. Wellness visits Annual physicals Sick visits Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Medication management and refills EMR: Epic License Needed: CA Certifications Needed: BC Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: FQHC experience preferred and Epic Other additional pertinent information: No GP Spanish speakers are preferred, not required
