About The Position
Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson is seeking a full-time BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join an established, robust reputable practice. This position is part of the Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS - Detroit Area), which has created exciting growth opportunities for Jackson's Henry Ford Allegiance Facility and the community. The partnership with Henry Ford Health System and Michigan State University has facilitated significant advancements, including the establishment of a State of Art Simulation & Research Labs and a new Surgical Patient Tower that added 66 private rooms, along with the implementation of EPIC house wide for both inpatient and outpatient services. Located about 77 miles southwest of Detroit, Michigan, the area offers a beautiful environment with numerous outdoor activities and is conveniently close (55 minutes) to an international airport, Detroit Metro. Jackson County boasts affordable living, several lakes, challenging golf courses, and numerous parks, making it an attractive place to live. Henry Ford Allegiance Health has received an A rating, ranking it among the safest hospitals in the United States. As the only hospital in Jackson County, it serves a vital role in the community, having become a certified Trauma center in 2017 and the only Level II trauma center within a 40-mile radius. The Family Medicine - Townsend Practice offers a full-time opportunity with an average call of 10-14 days annually. The position comes with a competitive compensation package, including a metric bonus, opportunities for leadership, continuing medical education (CME), and moving expenses. Candidates must be U.S. BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license, and possess a passion for improving community health.
