About The Position
HealthPlus Staffing is assisting a respected health system in partnership with a nationally recognized university in recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an inaugural Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty. This clinician–educator role provides a unique opportunity to help shape a new residency program while maintaining a clinical practice. Overview The Core Faculty physician will work closely with residency leadership to educate and mentor residents in both clinical and classroom settings. Responsibilities include curriculum development, program growth, and integrating virtual health and emerging technologies into training.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- New graduates and upcoming 2026 graduates welcome
- Visa sponsorship available
- Strong interest in graduate medical education
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor family medicine residents
- Participate in curriculum development and program expansion
- Provide bedside and didactic instruction
- Support the organization’s transition to an academic health system
