Muscatine UnityPoint Health – Trinity is a regional integrated health care delivery system including four full-service hospitals in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois and Bettendorf and Muscatine, Iowa. The integrated services available at Trinity Muscatine offer a seamless continuum of care between physician clinics, hospital and home care services. The hospital campus is home to emergency, orthopedic services, physician clinics, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic care and treatment, home health, public health and occupational medicine. In addition, it is home to Robert Young Center, the region’s only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. The Center provides a full continuum of behavioral health services including inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services. Established team of 2 physicians and 4 Advanced Practitioners Established practice serving the Muscatine community Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Average of 18-20 patients per day; no nights or weekends
• Shared call amongst the providers. Currently 1:8 clinic only – Triaged through MyNurse
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
