Requirements

• Doctorate Degree from an accredited medical school.
• MD-Physician license from State Medical Board.
• BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from AHA - American Heart Association.
• Adequate knowledge and skill of all privileged procedures as outlined in the Denver Health and Hospital Authority Department of Family Medicine Clinical Privileges documentation.
• Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, including major and complicated, and perform procedures.
• Provide preventative and therapeutic care for patients of all ages, including admitting patients, providing preventative care, acute care, prenatal care, injury care, management of chronic illnesses, and performing procedures.
• May provide guidance to staff in providing care for patients in ambulatory or inpatient setting.
