UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown just opened a new hospital in Marshall County in April 2022, offering the latest technology and state-of-the-art medical facility. In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown. Will join established team of 2 Advanced Practitioners serving the Marshalltown community. Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in a well-known clinic. Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences. Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community. Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access. Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board Certified
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • High energy and self-motivated provider with passion for family medicine, especially for Peds and women’s health
  • Average 18-20 patients per day
  • Perform exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and preventative care for all ages
  • Outpatient call 1:8 triaged first through the MyNurse call system (PHONE CALL ONLY)
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
