About the position

Najera Law Group APC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with a focus on family law. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in family law matters and will be responsible for various legal tasks including drafting documents, managing client files, and preparing for court appearances. This role is essential for supporting the firm's legal operations and ensuring effective case management.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Preparing and/or filing legal documents
• Managing client files and records
• Managing and updating case information in electronic case management software
• Preparing and/or responding to discovery requests
• Managing client calendars and meeting agendas
• Scheduling meetings, court appearances, and other legal activities
• Preparing briefs, motions, and responses to clients
• Managing deadlines and filing deadlines
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field required
• One to two years of family law experience is required
• Experience in litigation and paralegal responsibilities preferred
• Spanish language proficiency preferred

• Law Student from an accredited law school preferred
• Ability to relocate to Riverside, CA before starting work
