About The Position

Our client, New Jersey's leading Family Law practice, is searching for Paralegals to join their growing team.

Requirements

• 2-3 Years of NJ Family Law Paralegal Experience
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Must be able to patiently navigate clients through a difficult, highly emotional time

Nice To Haves

• Paralegal Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Research law, investigate facts, prepare documents and facilitate client service to assist attorneys in their work.
• Research/analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.
• Prepare legal documents like letters, briefs, and pleadings.
• File court documents.
• Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document file.
• Deliver/direct delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.
• Assist attorneys in maintaining a 90% (or better) collections rate per month and year.
