JOB TYPE: Full-time Family Interventionist Case Manager

LOCATION: Newark, DE

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field.
• At least 1 consecutive year of child welfare experience
• Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children and families in social services context preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to families that are at high risk of losing custody of their children
• Help families achieve goals by creating family case plans
• Meeting with families identifying needs, locating resources, and supporting their growth
• Maintain a case load of up to 12 families, providing support, and developing case plans
• Travel throughout New Castle county, with occasional travel to Kent or Sussex Counties
• Able to accommodate some evening/weekend work schedule
