The Family/Guest Services Transporter role is part of the Patient & Guest Services department, assisting and transporting patients and visitors to and from all outpatient departments by wheelchair or stretcher, and transporting outpatients to the hospital for admission. Requirements

  • Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency in demonstrating customer service communication skills such as smiling, greeting, tone of voice, eye contact, and body language.
  • Practice excellent communication skills with patients/guests, including listening, acknowledgement, empathy, and solution-based thinking.
  • Demonstrate sufficient fundamental proficiency in corporate hospitality and professionalism within the position.
  • Demonstrate attentiveness and approachability to patient/guest questions and needs.
  • Be knowledgeable of products and services and understand the position as a professional source for information and services.
  • Take ownership in the safety, appearance, and functionality of the immediate area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and transport patients/visitors to and from all outpatient departments by wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Transport outpatients to the hospital for admission.
