About The Position

Flexible Support Services are designed to assist youth between the ages of 6 and 18 and their families in Central MA who are DMH-eligible and DMH-referred. The overall goal is to assist children and their family members to develop skills, strategies and supports to sustain the child in the family’s natural environment and to help the child successfully function in the community. Services are highly flexible and individualized to meet the varying needs of children and their families. Open Sky is seeking a motivated, teamwork-oriented Clinician to join our team to support youth and families facing challenges in a home based service setting. They will work alongside a dedicated, clinically sophisticated workforce and have opportunities to build clinical best practices and be a part of a long-term team utilizing the principles of Wraparound and other evidence-based practices. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Services field.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work effectively with collaterals and partner agencies such as the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and educational facilities.
  • Experience with mental health treatment of children or adolescents and their families preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel and conduct in-home family therapy throughout Worcester County.
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate and monitor individual treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with the youth’s treatment team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
