About The Position

Then come join our Easterseals Vermont team! We are looking for a Family Engagement Specialist to join our team! Our work is challenging, but we strive to create strong teams and love to learn and laugh together! As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating family meetings and providing in-home support to strengthen families in their homes. You will coach parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody, and support them to meet the needs of their children in the moment. You will also call extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms. While we work closely with Department of Children and Families - Family Services Division, we have our own separate and comfortable offices!

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
• Two years of human services experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Own a reliable vehicle with insurance that meets coverage limits
