About The Position

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Family Engagement Ambassador will represent the Old Colony Y's Family Resource Center in a positive professional manner resulting in a friendly, safe, convenient and courteous environment for families, community partners, volunteers and fellow employees. The Family Engagement Ambassador is responsible for welcoming and assisting all visitors with becoming acclimated with the Center.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma with formal secretarial and bookkeeping experience.
Prior experience in office management and customer service.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel spreadsheets, Word and Word Processing.
Proficiency with computer and generated billing systems.
Valid MA Driver's License.
Must be physically able to drive.
Must be able to see, hear, speak, walk, and stand during the work day.

Responsibilities

Greet and complete intakes with families, as needed.
Maintain accurate call log for Family Resource Center.
Welcome and check-in families and visitors.
Compile, enter and maintain required data in the CRM for UMASS reporting in a timely manner.
Participate and plan monthly events at the Center.
Coordinate donations and manage "Pop-Up" food pantry.
Help support or facilitate weekly/monthly support groups.
Provide secretarial services for FRC team.
Oversee daily incoming and outgoing mail.
Process daily/weekly invoices.
Provide direct service to family members and offer support for Center.
Purchase and manage office supplies for the FRC.
Produce memo's, spreadsheets, correspondence, faxes, and email as needed.
Attend all staff meetings and produce minutes for the FRC.
Maintain community resource list.
Meet with FRC staff to ensure accurate data collection.
