Seeking Education Facilitators to conduct parent education groups in an office, classroom setting. The program is a family-centered curriculum designed to foster positive parenting skills and self-nurturing. The program features fun activities and exercises completed during the class and practiced at home to promote family time and positive brain development in children from birth to preschool. These classes are designed to teach practical skills to parents/caregivers and children. The program consists of two main components: parenting skills training, and family skills training. Groups are designed to teach parents/caregivers: Self-awareness Positive self-esteem Empathy Alternatives to hitting and yelling Family communication and needs awareness Healthy physical and emotional development Appropriate role and developmental expectation Schedule Requirements Parenting sessions are conducted over 14 weeks, 1 evening per week, or 1 Saturday morning per week. The 14-week cohorts will be offered in a hybrid format, meeting 10 sessions in-person & 4 sessions will be virtual Week-day schedule is from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, one night per week. Weekend Schedule is from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturdays. Typical time commitment during sessions, from conducting the class to preparation weekly is 5-10 hours/week.
