About The Position

The FTBS (Families Together Building Solutions) counselor provides solution-focused, home-based counseling services to children and families in Calhoun County.
You will have the ability to work from home, as there is no expectation to be in the office.

THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT-PART TIME POSITION WITH NO MORE THAN 2 CASES AT ONE TIME. $44.40 paid per hour for face-to-face sessions only.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science.
• Experience in providing counseling services to children and families.
• An understanding, commitment and/or training in solution-focused counseling models.

Nice To Haves

• State licensure commensurate with degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children and families, assisting them to improve their functioning.
• Provide home-based counseling services to families at a level that is in compliance with the model and meets contractual expectations including unit thresholds and documentation requirements.
• Interact with clients in non-traditional settings and during non-traditional hours.
• Represent Highfields and clients served through interacting with referral sources.
