This position is bilingual and requires duties to be done in both English and Spanish. Job offer will be contingent upon passing test(s) evaluating your proficiency in the bilingual requirements of the position. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science, or a closely related field OR A Bachelor's degree in any field and one year of human services related experience.
  • An Associate degree in a Behavioral Science, Social Science or a closely related field AND two years of human services related experience.
  • Three years of human services related experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews to determine family needs and eligibility, and complete program applications for program benefits and, if eligible, issues appropriate support.
  • Engage clients in family evaluation of strengths and jointly develop a case plan and identify the steps the family will take towards self-sufficiency and meeting their basic needs.
  • Monitor progress, needs, and makes necessary modifications to the case plan.
  • Initiate and participate in case staffing, employment readiness, life skills training, and supports job search as needed.
  • Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.
  • Explore alternate resources and link clients to community services and may also assist with supporting resources and services within the community.
