About The Position

The Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision and support to Family Centered Treatment Practitioners to ensure high quality service is provided to families, monitoring documentation to fidelity, and team performance to maximize benefits to families.

Requirements

  • Requires an active, state-issued license in their professional discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
  • Requires attainment of Supervisor Certification through the Family Centered Treatment Foundation within 12 months.
  • Requires valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • State Police FBI Child Abuse Clearances.
  • Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training certificate and/or statement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures high quality, family centered and culturally competent services are delivered to identified families.
  • Ensures that services and program processes are delivered to FCT fidelity standards.
  • Oversees and monitors interventions that are effective in reducing the maltreatment of children, improving caretaking and coping skills, and enhancing family resilience.
  • Oversees the development of specific measurable family goals, objectives, and time frames.
  • Attends and participates in Child and Family Team Meetings to monitor progress of treatment services and goal attainment.
  • Contacts appropriate stakeholders with referral/case issues, concerns, or problems after consultation with Community Based Director.
  • Supports staff in managing crisis calls and visits to ensure safety of staff and families.
  • Testifies in court as subpoenaed.
  • Manages referrals and timely assignment of cases to FCT Practitioner.
  • Assists with other projects and/or duties as assigned.
  • Reviews data and documentation regularly to determine whether FCT Practitioners are meeting FCT adherence and fidelity goals.
  • Reviews fidelity reports and corrects barriers to fidelity in a timely manner.
  • Ensures high quality, timely, professional documentation.
  • Provides a weekly team summary to leadership including issues/concerns with staff, cases, service hours and steps taken, general concerns, and positive comments.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders to include but not limited to peers, subordinates, and supervisors through verbal and written communication methods.
  • Utilizes and models positive verbal and written communication to team of FCT practitioners.
  • Oversees and holds staff accountable to the systems developed to ensure compliance with documentation of all program activities.
  • Completes written work that is legible, accurate and uses professional language.
  • Meets timelines for submitting paperwork established by FCT and the organization.
  • Receives supervision from and actively communicates with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding program matters.
  • Supervises staff of no more than ten (10) full-time FCT Practitioners directly or their supervisors depending on the personnel actions including action plans, hiring, termination, recruitment, vacation, and sick day requests.
  • Ensures that program staffing is qualified and provides continued safety of children served with high rates of success/program completion.
  • Monitors caseloads and service provision through EHR at minimum weekly.
  • Participates in weekly supervision consultation with the Family Centered Treatment Foundation (FCTF).
  • Provides weekly group (at team meetings) and individual supervision with FCT Practitioners.
  • Meets regularly with staff to assess quality of work, provide feedback on improved services, assess job satisfaction, and review case records for comprehensiveness and quality.
  • Reviews the FCT Practitioner field certification video check-off attempts.
  • Provides advocacy for families with outside agencies.
  • Collaborates with leadership and Human Resources on personnel issues and hiring.
  • Participates in the recruitment, interviewing and training of potential new employees.
  • Provides training to the team or an individual FCT Practitioner to address developmental needs.
  • Promotes positive attitude about the FCT model and attaining the necessary certifications.
  • Participates on recurring state FCT implementation team.
  • Oversees the training and certification process for the FCT Practitioner with the Master Trainer at the FCTF.
  • Oversees staff practices to ensure compliance with regulations and keeping with Pressley Ridge policy, procedure, values, and standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Reports safety concerns to Community Based Director and follows FCT and internal critical incident policies.
  • Completes all relevant training and makes consistent progress toward achieving the levels of FCT Supervisor Certification.
  • Completes all activities necessary to maintain certification from FCTF, once attained.
