About The Position

Since 2003, we've been assisting children, families and adults across North Carolina with their behavioral health needs. Carolina Outreach is a group of highly trained behavioral health professionals dedicated to promoting the emotional and physical well-being of our community in a safe and respectful environment. We provide a comprehensive and integrative array of behavioral health services and supports for people of all ages with varying levels of need utilizing an equitable and inclusive approach. We focus on helping our clients tap into and develop their inherent strengths with the goal of supporting the highest quality of life possible for all we serve. We are seeking a full-time Family Centered Treatment Qualified professional to provide community-based/in-home individual and family therapy for children, youth, adolescents, adults, and their families. The person in this position will work with clients and families/natural supports to assess their strengths and needs, assisting families with planning, developing, implementing, and assessing treatment and ancillary services, recommending the types of treatment modalities needed and providing these services directly or by referral. Create, develop, monitor, revise, and implement the client's Person-Centered Plan. Family Centered Treatment is a comprehensive treatment program that requires the In Home Therapy Clinician to make at a minimum two, multi hour face-to-face sessions per week with each family system with the exception of titration at discharge. In Home FCT Practitioner works a schedule that is flexible and able to meet the needs of each family they serve. This may often require meeting in the evenings and on the weekend. Provide written documentation as required. This will include treatment notes, goals and plans for the medical record (e.9., service notes, person-centered plan). Be available to respond as needed to clients and co-workers. This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role. It is not intended to include every duty or responsibility that may be required of employees in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology; or related field
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of related Mental Health or related work experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and families/natural supports to assess their strengths and needs, assisting families with planning, developing, implementing, and assessing treatment and ancillary services, recommending the types of treatment modalities needed and providing these services directly or by referral

  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with care teams as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
