About The Position

This position offers individuals the opportunity to be paid for providing non-medical care to an elderly or disabled family member or friend within their home. The company assists with applying for state waivers to cover services if the loved one is not currently on one. Eligible caregivers include parents, guardians, family members, or family friends, all of whom, along with the client, must be 18 years of age or older. The company covers the cost of required clearances and Tuberculosis testing. Services are available in Allegheny, Butler, Washington, Beaver, Westmoreland, and surrounding counties within 2-3 hours of Allegheny. The company accepts Community Health Choices, ACT 150, and VA Aid & Attendance waivers, and provides assistance for clients not on an accepted waiver.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate with assigned Client Care Manager and the ability to follow verbal and written communication
• Must complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program successfully
• Must pass background check/clearances as required by state regulations
