Family Care Coordinator for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR. This is a combined posting for a Social Worker MSW and a Professional Counseling Associate. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Social Worker MSW or Professional Counseling Associate practices in an inpatient psychiatry unit dedicated to serving youth ages 5-17. In addition to completing psychosocial assessments, the position will collaborate with other disciplines in the formation of treatment plans and patient assessments while supporting the unit in providing evidence-based and trauma informed care. Under supervision, this position will utilize established approaches and standards; complete and implement plans designed to promote patient safety; incorporate evidenced-based approaches to psychotherapy; facilitate meetings with patients, guardians, and other treatment team members. The position requires experience with acute mental healthcare and experience in providing psychoeducational & skills-based interventions.   • Oregon Professional Counselor Associate License upon hire for Professional Counselor.
  • 2 years Clinical work experience within healthcare for Social Worker MSW.
  • 1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship for Professional Counselor.
