About The Position

The Family Based Safety Services Caseworker is responsible for providing case management services to individuals and families in need, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources. This role involves conducting assessments, developing service plans, and collaborating with various professionals to advocate for clients' rights and access to services. The caseworker will monitor client progress, provide crisis intervention, and maintain accurate case records, all while working in a hybrid environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
• Experience working in behavioral health or child protective services preferred
• Strong knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage conflict and diffuse tense situations
• Proficient in crisis management techniques
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques
• Experience working with children and families
