As a Family Assistance Worker, you would be responsible for providing interventions to children in the Day Treatment Program for the purpose of helping children remain in the school, community and in the home. You would be working with the children on teaching skills such as: communication, de-escalation, behaviors, coping techniques, and many more. It is important to note that we do see various escalations through this program, however, it is an extremely rewarding experience to see the clients meet their treatment goals, and transition out of the Youth Day Treatment program, and back into the regular school settings.
