AUSTIN, TX: LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY: Loving bilingual family is seeking an exceptional, Spanish-fluent nanny to step into a dynamic. live-out FULL-TIME NANNY-FAMILY ASSISTANT hybrid role and become a trusted, long-term partner in their household. Having recently relocated from Mexico City, they bring a global perspective, strong values, and a deep appreciation for nurturing, culturally rich childcare. They are looking for a confident, proactive professional who can seamlessly blend thoughtful childcare with light household support and act as a steady, intuitive presence in the home. The role centers around caring for two young children; a curious, thoughtful preschool-aged boy who thrives on routine, exploration, and learning, and a spirited toddler girl who is expressive, playful, and full of personality. Afternoons are focused on school pickups, transitioning into play, meals, bath time, and evening wind-down, with an emphasis on outdoor play, curiosity-driven activities, and maintaining a calm, nurturing rhythm to the day. The ideal candidate understands early childhood development and is comfortable guiding both structure and flexibility with confidence and warmth. Beyond childcare, this position calls for a true household thought partner; someone who naturally anticipates needs, helps keep the household running smoothly, and supports the family with light family laundry, child-related meal prep, errands, and occasional homework support. This is not a strictly task-driven role, but rather an opportunity for a capable, emotionally intelligent professional to bring organization, foresight, and leadership to the home while maintaining a child-first mindset. They do have their current, long-term live-in nanny relocating with them who will primarily work early mornings and or weekends solely. She is like a second grandmother to them and will be going back and forth from Austin to Mexico. Spanish fluency is a must, as the family is bilingual and highly values preserving language and cultural continuity for their children. The nanny will be encouraged to speak Spanish regularly with the children and help foster a seamless bilingual environment. Comfort driving children, administering medication if needed, and swimming with children are also important aspects of the role. The schedule guarantees 40 hrs/wk, M-F with openness to occasional weekend and or travel flexibility when needed. Requirements

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
  • A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
  • 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
  • EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
