About The Position

You will cultivate relationships with Mountainside clients and family members by planning events, conducting outreach and maintaining a support network for like-minded individuals. Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Requirements

  • Experience working in event planning/management or personal assisting in event planning and execution.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as necessary.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to addiction, socioeconomics, and strong cultural competency.
  • Strong oral and written communication, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle challenging personalities and sensitive situations.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A passion for connecting people with the help they need.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of substance abuse field and treatment process preferred.
  • Comfortable or prior experience with Salesforce (preferred).
  • Associate's degree in Human Services or similar field - preferred
  • Two years of experience in the addiction treatment field - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facilitating family groups to build rapport with family members.
  • Collaborate with Admissions and Family Wellness departments for clients whose family members have agreed to participate in the Family Alumni program.
  • Responsible for spearheading all special event planning and coordination for Family Alumni programming in conjunction with the Alumni department.
  • Responsible for attending Family Alumni events to build connections with families.
  • Market all Family alumni events, workshops, and programs via appropriate communication channels and social media.
  • Maintains contact with clients and families through various outreach methods: Phone, SMS, email.
  • Ensure all aspects of contact with family are documented through the appropriate software.
  • Responsible for spearheading the Family Alumni Ambassador Program by recruiting new Ambassadors and leading the training program.
  • Embrace and grow the Family Alumni Ambassador program keeping engagement through Mountainside influencers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor when navigating crisis situations.
  • Assist in referring clients to Admissions who are seeking Mountainside services.
  • Write content for the Family Alumni Newsletter, Family Alumni APP and social media posts.
  • Help research and recruit podcast guests for the Mountainside podcast, Sober Spill.
