About The Position

Removes barriers to success for homeless and at-risk students
Serves as the special advocate for the family across all aspects of education and is the connection between the family and school services

Requirements

• Able to work with students in grades k-5
• Ability to take initiative and be self-directed
• Ability to discipline with dignity
• Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
• Removes barriers to success for homeless and at-risk students
• Serves as the special advocate for the family across all aspects of education and is the connection between the family and school services

• Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (May be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
