About The Position
OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Family Advocate . The Family Advocate is a vital part of the school family and interacts with all center staff and children daily, so they must be friendly, flexible and a team player. Family Advocates are to bring support in a case management style and act as a liaison between families, staff, the community, and other family-related services. This position is also responsible for recruitment and registration of enrolled children and families. Requirements
- Minimum of HS Diploma/GED
- willingness to attain a credential (provided by the program) within 18 months of hire or certification in Social Services or related field
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Copy of transcript required with application.
- Case management experience.
