JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE The Family Advocate Supervisor directs and supports the Family Advocate Floater. The Supervisor monitors and assesses the Family Advocates effectiveness in managing their caseload. This includes recruitment, enrollment of eligible families, monitoring childs attendance and engaging families in family goal setting process. Furthermore, The Family Advocate Supervisor is a conduit between the Program Managers and the Family Advocates, and ensures that Family Advocates are able to prioritize tasks assigned by the different Program Manager areas. The Family Advocate Supervisor communicates any challenges affecting any Family Advocate Floaters performance of their duties to an assigned Assistant Director. The Supervisor guides the Family Advocate in being able to engage community partners who provide families services, and how to refer families to internal resources that address their needs, interests, and goals. The Family Advocate Supervisor works closely with the Program Manager for Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, Attendance (ERSEA) and Family Community Engagement (FCE) to ensure that these areas align in prioritizing the Family Advocate workload and timelines. They are also responsible for ensuring a team approach to working with other Program Managers, being cognizant of how the various areas are influencing Family Advocate priorities, and making recommendations to support the Family Advocates overall efficiency in completing their assigned duties.
