In Ingevity’s Engineering Co-op program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to apply your problem-solving and technical skills to increase safety, efficiency, reliability and productivity in our manufacturing environments. You’ll have the chance to tackle real world, value-added projects that support production and project engineering throughout a plant. In this role, safety and teamwork are key as you innovate and improve processes and troubleshoot problems. Ingevity’s Engineering Co-op is structured around two-three rotations ranging in average length from three-six months per term. Each Co-op term is typically separated with an academic term in between to allow for mutual learning and application of engineering concepts both to your academic and real-world learning. Candidates who apply should be available for multiple terms and should consult with their academic advisor on their availability and ability to participate in such a program. Ingevity’s co-ops are on-site full-time positions and participants should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8AM-5PM. Specific norms around working hours may vary based on occasional project assignments and will be communicated by your manager. Ingevity is hiring a Fall 2026 co-op for the Waynesboro, Georgia location. Anticipated start dates for Ingevity’s co-ops are within the following periods: Fall 2025: August/September What will you gain in the Engineering Co-op Program?
