Creates unit and integration test plans. Performs unit and integration testing. Participates in peer code reviews. Supports application deployment. Not specific to all roles but able to accommodate the best suited role of PM, Developer, BA analyst or QA Analyst in an agile project. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume. Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall). Must work onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, information systems, math, computer science, or a related curriculum.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher and must include extracurricular activities that demonstrate use of interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates acceptance of responsibility; shows pride in work performed; demonstrates flexibility in acceptance of assignments and schedules; maintains professional behavior and appearance; exhibits dependability.

Nice To Haves

  • Good knowledge of information systems used to support manufacturing to include an understanding of integrated systems.
  • Knowledge of IT system environments/platforms and development tools preferred.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical information.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing preferred.
  • Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering preferred.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Excellent planning, time management and organization skills.
  • Professional experience in quality assurance software testing as part of the development process preferred.
  • Precise attention to detail required.
  • Good consulting, client relations skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation expertise.
