What You’ll Experience Real-world projects that make an impact Exposure to innovative practices Opportunities to grow skills and professional connections Program Structure Juniors: Two rotations required Seniors & Graduate Students: One rotation required About the position The Loads and Dynamics team is responsible for all aspects of static loads, dynamic loads, and flutter at Gulfstream. Working closely with the senior engineers for support and oversight, you will gain meaningful experience solving technical challenges in the areas of structural dynamics and aeroelasticity. Your work may include the following: Performing static and dynamic ground/landing gear loads analyses, including formula and landing conditions Generating and analyzing aircraft structural dynamic responses and corresponding load distributions for tuned and continuous gust conditions Performing aircraft flutter analysis for nominal, parametric, failure, and repair scenarios Assessing aircraft repairs and modifications for flutter impacts Assisting in the development of new tools and methods for loads analyses Education Requirement Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering with coursework in Aerodynamics or an Aerospace concentration/certificate Preferred Skills Enrolled in a graduate degree program with a focus on structural dynamics or aeroelasticity Experience with MATLAB Finite Element Analysis and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics experience Familiarity/course work in aerodynamics, structures, and aeroelasticity Benefits Include Competitive pay Paid Holiday Time Company-provided housing (if your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from Gulfstream) Medical coverage 401(k) match Collegiate networking events Please note that this job description may remain active until March 27, 2026.
