The App Quality Assurance Co-op position is focused on testing the SharkClean & Ninja ProConnect applications to ensure proper functionality and meeting specified requirements. The daily tasks will include executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development & other QA teams to resolve issues throughout the app development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Interest in participating in day-to-day testing for manual mobile applications.
• Understanding of UI/UX functionality for mobile applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good listening skills.
• Flexible in approach.
• Out-of-the-box thinker.
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable expressing a point of view to challenge conventional thinking.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies (Sanity, Regression, Exploratory, Negative, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in relevant topics (e.g. web/application engineering, computer science, robotics).
• Experience with robotics (e.g. microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, sensors such as IR and Lidar).
• Experience working with consumer-facing IOT devices.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and/or Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Experience with Jira or similar Test Case/Defect Management Tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for mobile applications.
• Identify defects and issues in the applications.
• Collaborate with development and other QA teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in application quality assurance testing of app-connected robotic vacuum and Ninja kitchen products.
