About the Role: The Information Security landscape is constantly changing and we must continue to evolve to protect CrowdStrike data, our customers and partners. We have seen an increased need in ensuring the Software used day to day by our CrowdStrikers does not pose a risk to the organization. The supply chain threat is real and requires diligence on all fronts to protect what matters most. The intern will provide hands-on analysis of all software installed in the CrowdStrike environment and help define a scalable model for software reviews, approve/denied tracking, analytics and remediation through coordinating the removal of unapproved software directly with end users. The individual will need to have strong analytical and people skills and the ability to work at a high level with technical and non technical resources. The successful candidate will be able to turn the requirements into design specifications and then deliver technical solutions, training around them, support them, communicate change, and direct internal and external resources during such efforts. Location: FULLY IN-PERSON The Falcon Complete Security Advisor Internship is fully in-person, requiring attendance at the CrowdStrike San Antonio office four to five days per week for the duration of the program. Time Commitment: Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. Start & End Dates: June 1st - August, 21st 2026 (12 Weeks)

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year College or University working towards a BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field and graduating between December 2026 - June 2027
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written with a positive communication style
  • Inquisitive by nature, possessing a general curiosity about how things work
  • Experience in mapping out processes from beginning to end avoiding any gaps or potential oversights
  • Proficiency in searching through and analyzing data/logs, looking for patterns and/or anomalies
  • Ability to trend/visualize data to communicate findings and drive actions
  • Ability to read and write technical writing and documentation (i.e. summaries of what a particular piece of software actually does)
  • Project management
  • Understanding of enterprise applications, plug-ins and browser extensions a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC)2 a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work on a full life-cycle solution for Desktop software reviews from a Security Architecture and Engineering perspective.
  • Review existing Infosec Architecture and Engineering Desktop Software Review Program and outline improvement areas, focusing on automation when possible.
  • Define the key metrics the team will use for measuring program success, establishing a baseline for each metric
  • Work with technical leads and managers to support teams with technical consulting, direction, and problem solving as part of the standard systems development life cycle process.
  • Assist with the day-to-day reporting & ad-hoc analysis requests from functional areas
  • Apply and support architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, end user training material and user facing communications
  • Be hands on with the design, development, and troubleshooting of existing systems and solutions and will work with team members and/or 3rd party suppliers as required
