Requirements

  • Seeking a degree in electrical engineering or materials science.
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a programming language.
  • Familiar with electrical test instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, parameter analyzers, curve tracers.
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics.
  • Circuit design and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to automate characterization of semiconductor device electrical characteristics using Python, Labview, C, Visual Basic, etc.
  • Perform IC inspection with optical microscope and Scanning Electron Microscope.
  • Conduct electrical testing of IC's using power supplies, oscilloscopes, parametric analyzers and other bench test instruments.
  • Assist in the root cause failure analysis of semiconductor IC chips through electrical analysis and mechanical analysis.
  • Perform mechanical deprocessing of IC chips.
