About The Position

The Failure Analysis / Yield Improvement Engineer is responsible for conducting failure analysis with a strong focus on process and tool characterization, as well as yield improvement in a wafer fabrication environment that produces photonic integrated circuits. This role involves operating advanced equipment, maintaining its functionality, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and data delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in failure analysis and yield improvement in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in operating cross-section SEMs and Focused Ion Beam SEMs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with photonic integrated circuits manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in a wafer fabrication environment.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment maintenance.
