About The Position
Mercer University's Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track faculty positions. The faculty will teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the Macon campus. Responsibilities: In addition to teaching in the traditional BSN track on the Macon campus, faculty will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession and higher education through scholarship and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. These positions require on-campus presence and are not virtual appointments.
Requirements
- Master's in nursing from an accredited university/college
- Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Philosophy commensurate with Mercer University's mission and values
Nice To Haves
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
- A minimum of two years of full-time academic experience
- Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise
- Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards
Responsibilities
