This role will be supporting undergraduate students enrolled in the online Surgical Technology program at clinical sites in the Milwaukee area by rounding and instructing. This role requires an individual to be onsite at the various clinical sites.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred
Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency
Posses a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCAA)
Have at least 2 years of experience in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology (or a combination of both) within the past 5 years
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills necessary to maintain positive, professional interactions with students, alumni, faculty, and employer partners.
