About The Position
Waldorf University invites candidates to apply for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Sport Management at the Assistant Professor rank. The appointment will begin in August 2025. Candidates able to teach a broad range of courses related to Sport Management are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in the Sport Management major, which includes courses in sport context of sociology, public relations, promotions, fundraising, facilities, administration, finance, legal liability, and risk management. A full-time teaching load is 24 credits (typically 12 credits or 4 classes per semester). In addition to teaching responsibilities, full-time faculty members are expected to engage in committee work, academic advising, hold office hours, attend faculty meetings, and participate in other non-classroom activities that support the department, division, and institution.
