Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related fields from an accredited institution. A minimum of three years special education teaching experience in a public U.S. PK-12 school. Experience teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse settings. Evidence of effective instruction at the university level with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive curriculum and program design. Ability to teach courses in two or more of the following areas: learning disabilities, mild/moderate disabilities, prevention and intervention strategies for positive school environments. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
