About The Position

The Sonography Instructor at AdventHealth University is responsible for delivering high-quality education in sonography, supervising clinical students, and engaging in academic roles such as teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited academic institution in the assigned area of education or a related field.
• At least two years of effective college-level work in the area of academic or professional expertise.
• Registry required through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate behaviors in harmony with AHU's values of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.
• Provide course syllabi for instruction.
• Develop, design, and deliver instruction in assigned courses.
• Participate in student advising and mentoring.
• Formulate and administer student competencies as needed.
• Engage in teaching, service, scholarship, and research roles.
• Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students.
• Assist with revisions for department policies and procedures.
• Identify and recommend community agency linkages for student learning experiences.
