About The Position

The Faculty Program Lead will report to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. This position provides day-to-day leadership for the program and teaches as assigned by the Dean. The Faculty Program Lead will oversee the delivery of the academic program, ensuring that it meets standards and aligns with MCCN strategic plans. They will review and confirm that the curriculum is updated to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. The role champions the interests of MCCN students, faculty, staff, and alumni as well as the welfare of the institution. The Faculty Program Lead represents MCCN in the most positive manner with a diverse group of faculty, prospective, former and current students, alumni, clients, vendors, and members of the larger community. They will provide leadership and support for faculty, manage resources, foster a positive environment, and ensure academic quality and student success, while also engaging in strategic planning and external relations. Additionally, the Faculty Program Lead will assist faculty and students with required research/scholarship endeavors, as applicable.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in a Doctorate level program.
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing required.
  • Must hold a current active unrestricted applicable license in the State of Ohio.
  • Successfully completed an accredited program.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to the mission, values, and vision of MCCN.
  • Conduct themselves according to established MCCN policies and procedures.
  • Experience in curriculum development and educational administration preferred.
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer and other contemporary instructional technology.
