Faculty Professor - Part-Time
About The Position
This position is at the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) for the Physiology of the WEight Reduced State (POWERS) study, which is investigating physiologic, and other, reasons for weight regain after intentional weight loss. This Professor position will assure continuity at the DCC for the remainder of the current funding period and the anticipated study extension needed for the study to complete recruitment, retention, and reporting the results. Incumbent will lead staff meetings, attend Steering Committee and Executive Committee calls/meetings, review materials for, and attend and present at Data and Safety Monitoring Board meetings, chair the Publications and Presentations subcommittee, work with the analysts to create datasets, participate/lead data analyses, and participate in data presentations and publications. Will also work on requesting funds for the 6th year of the project and responding to a request for applications for a new project, that is expected to be due in July, 2026
Requirements
- PhD in Biostatistics
- 20+ years of University experience
Responsibilities
