About The Position

Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop a generalizable computational method to model and predict the crystallizability of TELSAM-client protein fusions, with the ultimate goal that such a method will accurately predict a crystallizable variant of every stably folded domain of every protein in the Uniprot database Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in modern protein modelling and engineering software, including the Rosetta modelling suite, with the goal being to foster a stronger Rosetta user base in the lab If interested, experimentally evaluate selected engineered proteins for desired activity. Plan and execute studies and experiments efficiently Present results to and counsel with the PI weekly Collaborate effectively with other research teams within and outside the laboratory Troubleshoot failed procedures effectively Exhibit commitment to the development of the laboratory and its research program Stay abreast of new developments in the computational protein modeling and design field
