The Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech seeks applications for multiple tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at all ranks and in all areas of computer science. Special consideration will be given to candidates in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science; theory and algorithms, including numerical analysis and the intersection of science and AI; computer science education; and security. The department is in a period of rapid growth and expanding opportunity - applicants in any area of computer science are encouraged to apply.
