We invite applications for a faculty position (clinician scientist or clinical track) at the instructor level from candidates with training in radiation oncology who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to clinical and translational research and patient care. The ideal applicant will also possess experience in leadership, mentorship, and education within an academic environment. The Department of Radiation Oncology consists of several specialized sections, including faculty radiation oncologists, radiation oncology nursing, advanced practice providers, medical physics, medical dosimetry, radiation therapy, as well as clinical informatics and research support. Additionally, the Department maintains a strong affiliation with the St. Jude NCI-funded Comprehensive Cancer Center, whose programs emphasize both basic and translational research. This position will report directly to the department chair and deliver patient care services in coordination with faculty and staff. Candidates must hold an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or UK/European equivalent, have training in radiation oncology, and qualify for Tennessee medical licensure, as clinical duties are required.
