The Division of Urology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks a BC/BE urologist interested in Urologic Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery (URPS). Interest in neuro-urology would also be helpful. The mix of responsibilities reconstruction, female urology, and neuro-urology could be developed based on the applicant background and professional interest. Applicants should be qualified to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities will include clinical care of urology patients, education of students and residents and participation in research programs. Practice opportunities are available at the University of Maryland Medical Center, University of Maryland Mid-town Campus, Veterans’ Affairs Maryland Health Care System (Baltimore) and other system locations to be determined. Opportunities for basic and clinical research are available for interested candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training or previous experience in URPS or Genitourinary reconstructive surgery (GURS).
