The Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology is seeking a Geriatrician to support our long-term care resident center. Requirements

  • Qualified applicants are board-certified/board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine and board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Possess outstanding clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage admissions, acute follow-ups, regulatory visits, and discharges.
  • Supervise APPs (NP and/or PA)
  • Precept trainees: geriatric fellows, palliative care fellows, family medicine or internal medicine residents
  • May participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and regulatory reviews
  • Engage in scholarly activities such as quality improvement or research projects related to quality metrics
  • Participate in Geriatric call pool (LTC, Geriatric Clinic and Domiciliary care)
