About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Dermatology seek a General Dermatologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Oakland, Maryland and Keyser, WV Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Dermatology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a Dermatology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Dermatology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia’s first and only multi-organ transplant center, and opened a new, 150-bed Children’s Hospital in September 2022. Today, the WVU Health System has more than 3,400 licensed beds, 4,600 providers, and nearly 35,000 employees. Requirements

Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
Successful candidate must have completed a Dermatology residency program.
Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Dermatology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
